Join me for our 10TH YEAR of Yoga on the Boardwalk!! In this 10-week traditional Hatha Yoga series, we will focus on breath-linked movement, learning/practicing proper (safe) alignment, and developing and growing mind-body awareness. A typical class will incorporate meditation, breathwork, strengthening movement, and both standing and seated postures. This class is suitable for all bodies, including beginners and seniors. No previous yoga experience is required. Modifications will be offered.
PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The series is limited to 16 students this year and there will be no "drop in" option, so register soon at www.kimnixonyoga.com/register. You have to commit to be assured a spot.
As always (with the exception last year's Maine General series) 30% of the revenue from our summer Yoga on the Boardwalk series will be donated to Kennebec Valley Humane Society for the care and rehoming of homeless animals in our community. ♥ I'm so excited to return to this "karma yoga" format this year.
Weather cancellations will be posted on Facebook at least an hour before class and will also be sent by email to all preregistered students. *Makeup classes for rainy day cancellations will run in the same time slot, immediately following the series.
